Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples has been an American performer and actor for more than a decade. She received the best recognition for her performance as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). The actress also played the title role in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the younger sister of Ally. Aubrey was a part-time performer for ten years in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School, in which she was the valedictory for the 2012 class. Harvard University admitted her, but she needed to be able to consent on her entry again the second time due to her Nashville part. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in the television film Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009), and The Good Mother. The latter was her most prominent part in the role of Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. In 2019 Peeples talked about having bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire included Peeples among the best performers under the age of twenty old in September 2014.
